Production Diary

 26/04/2021 - Today, I mostly focused on my cutaways project, in regards to the raw cut, adding a musical score to it, along with various transitions amongst the cutaways, creating quite the variety of edits. Along with text, which adds to the scene, making sure that the text fades in and out, something I also made sure to do with the musical score. I replaced the audio entirely with the music, as the audio associated with the video during recording features various amounts of talking, along with the fact that the audios were being cut off by the audio from other cutaways, it made it seem not very professional, and therefore to add to the work, I got rid of said audio, replacing it with a rather calming track, similar to the audio features within the inspiration video, something that’s calming but not too overbearing in its musical component. The things I aim to do next lesson is get this uploaded to blogger, and also talk about these changes, then try and create my survey. 

5/05/2021-Today, I mostly focused on the creation of my pitch, and evaluating some "feedback", which quite frankly felt mostly irrelevant as far as I'm concerned, however I did make sure to point out such things, and justify my additions and omissions of such things, overall things felt fairly decent however I'd like to work on finishing my pitch soon.

6/05/2021- Today, I managed to complete the majority of my pitch an also made my way through the pre-production too. This is excellent progress, I have completed the risk assessment, the resource list, along wit the location scout, need to finish others before the 19th of May, the day of the production. 

12/05/2021- Today, I worked on my storyboard, managing to get a decent ways through, almost half ways, I feel this is good progress. It is the only thing I really need to do for pre-production as I am unable to do a crew list due to the groups not being set in stone yet. 

17/05/2021- I have now finished my storyboard, crew list, and shot list, this brings an end to the pre-production, making me ready for the production to come on 26/05/2021.

26/05/2021- As said previously, today was the production day for the project, in which I recorded the haircut that Mark Sowerby had decided on for this tutorial. Now that the recording is finished, this leads me onto the editing stage of the project.

7/06/2021- I have now begun the editing process for my tutorial video, getting round about half the video finished. Specifically getting done the intro for the tutorial too. For next time, I will plan on finishing the editing process completely. 

10/06/2021- I have now finished the editing process, adding things to the video such as text instructions, music, and plenty of transitions to fit well with it. For next time, I plan on producing a behind the scenes video in regards to the production day itself. 

14/06/2021- Today, I managed to create and complete my behind the scenes video for the production day of the tutorial haircut video. Now, my next step is to move onto the evaluation stage, which I have already partially begun.

18/06/2021- Today brings a close to the project, with me finishing the evaluation as a whole, covering all areas that I can imagine, putting large amounts of detail to ensure all the information is required. This being done leaves me with nothing else to finish.
